Where the hell have you been??

ummmm....to my loyal reader (s?)...lol...i apologize. After my best month ever in my short 20 month career, I managed to donk off my bankroll hand after hand after hand. I almost (almost) quit playing Poker all together. Now I have been liberally spending my profits all along, so I didn't lose $4K, but I lost enough to not have a bankroll to play on. On top of all this, I've realized that I had been neglecting my personal affairs, so I took a break. I have actually rebuilt my bankroll playing free rolls...(yes, I admitted it) and no live play. Since the vast majority of my profit has come from live play and I have most of my personal affairs back in order, I 'm ready to get back out and start playing again. I feel really good too because I never stopped studying the game. And in my first three live tourneys, I placed third, first and first!

So I have to say I learned a few lessons during this period. Most of them related to playing after a big win, staying humble, managing the bank roll, and not overdoing it. Good lessons! Who would have thought this game of poker is more than just cards, position, tells, and odds?

So I need to do some bookkeeping to figure out ed zackary where I am at in my earnings (this is an important measure to me) career to date. I'll get that posted and see you at the tables.

Good luck.

Ed
